Living outside the comfort zone

comfort zone

Reading my work aloud is like standing in front of a room full of people stark naked. And, at the age of 48, I can assure you that’s not happening.  But recently, in Vermont at a retreat with my EMLA agency/ family,

Inside Out

Inside Out Logo

Do you ever feel inside out?  Like who you are on the inside doesn’t match who you are on the outside?  The way you look or dress or wear your hair, doesn’t seem to match what you feel or who you are.

A Must Read

I just finished Marcelo in the Real World by Francisco Stork and I can say with conviction that it is one of the best books I’ve ever read.  Truly.  As a reader, I felt compassion, conviction, sorrow, anger and joy.  My emotions rose and fell with Marcelo.

Adjetude

Adjetude   An adjective describing a person with much attitude.

I love it!  It rolls off your tongue.  For instance, you could say that conceited, imperious, and pretentious are all suitable adjetudes.  Doesn’t it sound like it belongs.   An official new word?
