I have been off, hunkered down in my own busy, crazy world for a bit, but I’ve missed you all, so I’m back. In fairness, a recap is in order. So, here goes…my oldest son Josh tore his ACL skiing, had surgery and is now happily well on his way to a full recovery. Josh also got into Middlebury College and will be attending as a Feb in 2011. Yahooey!!! He did the whole prom, graduation thing. Very cool and exciting. My youngest son Greg finished his first high school year at a new school, Noble and Greenough. He grew a foot and now towers over me : ) We took the most incredible family trip to Arizona, where we hiked and camped in the Grand Canyons. The sunrise over the Canyon wall was breathtaking, our hikes-turned-rock-climbing-and-scaling (with no belay) were terrifying, the lack of running water was interesting, but 27 miles later we were all exhausted, filthy, proud and very happy.
Writing is always my summer companion. Summer 2010 was no exception. I finished my fifth book (YA), entitled Torn. I just sent it along to my wonderful agent, Susan Cohen of Writers House in NY, NY. I’m eagerly awaiting her thoughts. Until then, wish me luck : )
