Inspiration abounds. A beautiful blue sky and warm day in March (in New England). A birds-eye view of large snowflakes sprinkling on the pines. A room filled with talented children playing musical instruments, singing and dancing.
This weekend, inspiration enveloped me like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I took a walk with my pups and husband on Saturday in the spring-like day. I attended my son’s school’s amazing Pops performance where kids of all ages (including my son…way to go Gregory : ) shared their beautiful musical talents with friends and family. And, while I write, I’m watching the snow drift across my window, reminding us New Englanders that winter’s not ready to say goodbye quite yet.
Inspiration excites us and gets our minds reeling with the possible. What inspires you? What makes your heart happy and the impossible possible?
Book tip of the day: Lucky Breaks, by Susan Patron. This is the sequal to her book, The Higher Power of Lucky, the 2007 Newbery Medal Winner and one of my top 5 all-time favorites.
