As this site features my road to publication, I thought you’d be happy to know that despite the recession, the lay-offs and the ever-changing children’s book industry, I remain eternally hopeful. Why not? Right.
I feel closer to publication than ever before. The door that houses my inner-most wish of being published wants to open, but can’t until I get the big, gigantic YES!
You must know those moments when you are getting close to your wish, your dream, what you secretly pray for when no one is listening. They feel like a buzz in your gut. A happy buzz. Not like a chainsaw, but a lawn mower on the first spring day. Hope. Gotta have it!
Book tip: Just finished a super read, Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. A fast-paced, fantasy filled with lots of action and intriguing characters. A page turner. A great tip from my nephew. Thanks, Eli. I recommend checking it out. I’m heading out to pick up no. 2 in the trilogy, Catching Fire. I’ll keep you posted.
